Blanka's rise in the make-up industry has been one of hard work and noteworthy success. Born and raised in Croatia, Blanka became interested in art as a child, and spent many hours drawing and painting the world around her. In 1991 she moved to London where she discovered her passion for face as her canvas. She studied theatrical, film and fashion make-up and hair for two years at the London College of Fashion, followed by a very successful time working at the English National Opera in Covent Garden. Arriving in Australia in 1997 Blanka has steadily gained a reputation of professionalism and expert creativity in her field that has won her a loyal clientele in New York, London, Sydney and Melbourne. Her talent, technical skill and love of beauty combined with a down-to-earth attitude keep her in high demand. The diversity of her work is acknowledged in fashion, advertising campaigns, TV commercials, music videos, and most notably feature films such as Ned Kelly and Vanity Fair.
